In the Mexican Republic, Children's Cancer represents the second cause of death for children between 0 and 14 years old.

The answer to this reality is founded in September 1999 NOSOTROS POR LOS NIÑOS CON CANCER AC. In Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. With the MISSION to grant INTEGRAL medical attention that covers chemotherapy, radiotherapy, diagnostic and laboratory tests, and also emotional support to children with cancer covering those families who cannot afford to treat this condition properly. From that moment, a new road marks the path of the children that arrive at the "General de Occidente" Hospital of Guadalajara, and until today, 63% of our treated children recovers when there is an opportune diagnostic and appropriate treatment. We are able to do this thanks to OUR TEAM: the doctors, specialists in haematology and paediatric oncology, psychologists, palliative care personnel and social personnel of the "General de Occidente" Hospital of Guadalajara. Our team shares knowledge with foreign specialists like Dra. Sima Jeha from St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis, Dr. Philip Salem from St. Luke's Hospital in Houston and Dr. Todd Cooper from MD. Anderson Hospital in Houston.
